The Year in Pictures-January
In honor of the coming of a new year, I have decided to take a photographic stroll down memory lane, and post my favorite pictures from each month of 2005. To begin, I have chosen a photograph that pretty accurately sums up the theme of 2005. This photograph was taken on New Years Day, in a sweet hotel room at the Hyatt Grand Central in NYC. What a weekend that was... That was literally the weekend that started it all, and some of my favorite catch phrases from 2005 came out of that weekend, such as "AMBULANCE!", "BETTY!", "WRONG AGAIN!" and "DON'T GO TO SLEEP!" Ah, 2005. It certainly has been one hell of a year.

I see there's still some Johnny Walker Red in that bottle. What gives? Actually I'm thinking about swearing off alcohol and going the more herbal and meditational routes. Booze and I are not a match made in heaven.
It's been a good year - let's say 16 months - for me, but I have different reasons. Besides the obvious - my band is back and gaining strength every week - I just feel like I'm in a better place in just about any aspect of life you can imagine. I owe some of this to personal growth that happened thanks to all the wonderful people I've met. I owe some of that to you Rook. You and Blue and Birdy and the many others who I crossed paths with this year in some significant way.
*sniff* ok, that's enough of that.
I have no idea what to expect next year so I'm going to just pretend this is the glory year and hope when the lounge ends that we still see each other now and then.
Like buckshot hitting a United States map...so go the crazed and the wise. May they come together regularly again.

Fink-thank you so much for the kind words. I think we can all agree with Blue's words about friendship:
"Our good friends are what make our lives so wonderful. That and sleeping pills."
Truer words may have never been spoken.
As for the Aqualounge, it will still be in full effect, it will just be the Aqualounge Southwest.
FF-glad you like the photos! Who knows, you may even be featured in one of the editions...
